The ZB claw vacuum pump uses a spiral anti-claw rotor pair that compresses gas with no contact between the claws, so it runs completely oil-free and without internal wear. A 17-4PH stainless-steel rotor and compound seal give corrosion resistance and long life, step-compression cuts energy use by around 30%, and the vertical structure handles gas-liquid mixtures well. It suits molecular distillation, freeze-drying, solvent recovery, polymerisation, dyes and coatings, biotechnology and food processing, with speeds from 108 to 720 m³/h.
