The XA series generates compressed air with a pair of orbiting and fixed scrolls that compress air without any lubricating oil in the compression chamber, so the delivered air is completely oil-free — essential for pharmaceutical, food and beverage, electronics and laboratory processes where any oil contamination is unacceptable. Multiple scroll modules run independently, so a single failure does not stop the whole machine and capacity can be scaled by staging modules. The range spans 3.7 to 30 kW (5–40 HP).
